All products made by us are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
Our Commitment
My Cecelia will provide a custom-baked order in a timely manner as specified in the invoice or contract. We appreciate your business and are honored that you have chosen us for your special celebration. We guarantee that the flavors, size, and general design elements will meet the specifications outlined in the order agreement or contract. If you are not satisfied with our product(s), please let us know at the time you receive your order. Once your order is accepted, refunds will not be issued.
Allergy Disclaimer
At My Cecelia, we are dedicated to providing delicious baked goods while prioritizing the safety of our customers, especially those with food allergies. We pledge to do our utmost to prevent the introduction of any of the top 8 allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, fish, wheat, shellfish, eggs, soy, and milk) in our products. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform My Cecelia, prior to placing an order, of any allergies beyond the top 8 allergens.
However, it's important to note that while we carefully select ingredients and follow strict preparation protocols to minimize the risk of allergen contamination, we rely on allergen warnings provided by our ingredient suppliers. We cannot guarantee that the products we use are completely free from trace amounts of allergens or that they haven’t come into contact with allergens during the manufacturing process. Like you, we depend on the information disclosed on the packaging’s nutritional label.
We will always work with you to ensure that what you order from My Cecelia is not only delicious but also safe. If you ever have any concerns, please reach out to us, and we will always be willing to show you any and all nutritional labels used by the manufacturers of the ingredients in our products. We cannot use any suggested product that does not meet our top 8 allergen requirements.
Your safety and satisfaction are paramount to us, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to prioritize food safety in everything we do.
Design Variations
If specific colors are requested, then we will do our best to match them; custom-baked goods are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a color, but we will come as close as possible. The final product may be subject to slight variations. Also, be aware that exposure to light can cause colors to change. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of a color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to lighting. In the event that a major variation needs to be made, My Cecelia will communicate this to the customer and seek redesign approval
Any order requesting to resemble a picture or photo of a product made by any other bakery or baker will not be reproduced. We will use the reference elements and images to create our interpretations of that product and will not provide an exact reproduction.
Care, Handling, and Alternations
We are not responsible for any damage to the order after pick-up is complete. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the orders. Some orders, such as cakes, may be heavy and require a sturdy table and an optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. Exposure to hot environments may affect the taste or appearance of the order.
After you or your representative elect to pick up the product(s), you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the product(s) once it leaves the possession of My Cecelia. If a representative is picking up the order, they will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging the condition of the order prior to leaving.
My Cecelia is not responsible for any alterations made to the order after the order has been picked up. The customer is responsible for all allergy risks that may be introduced to the order if any alterations are made or additional ingredients are added.
All products are made to be eaten on the day of the order pickup.
Quotations, Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations
All quotations are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue. All orders require at least fourteen (14) days' notice prior to the preferred pickup date.
For all orders, a deposit of 50% and a signed contract are required to consider this an order. The remaining balance is due five (5) business days prior to the agreed-upon order pick-up date. Any changes to this order must be made no later than ten (10) business days prior to pickup. Any changes requested after the signing of the order contract cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
All deposits are non-refundable. Order credits for a future order may be given if the order is canceled before the remaining balance is due, less the fair market value of items that cannot be re-used. Orders canceled after the remaining balance is due will not be refunded or credited. If full payment is not received by the agreed-upon date, the order may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.
Photographs and Marketing
We respect the privacy of all our clients. We will not disclose the identity of clients (photographs of people, names, event details, contract details) without permission. We do, however, reserve the right to photograph baked goods and use those photos on our website, social media, or marketing materials. We also reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If we cancel the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects the ability to complete the order, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification to the customer.
